After three months here at EBM, my first contribution to the opensource world is online ! I'm a part of the great opensource family ! new Petals 1.1 is available
Weird feeling to be a part of it, to make our work public, to know (hope ?) that people will use it...

My contributions are multiple in this new version and I did 2 "visible" things.
First the installer : more friendly for users than a simple archive, there is now a graphical installer for an automated and custom installation... ok its creation is automated too, I used a specific tool (IzPack)... but I customised the interface for Petals and transformed images from blue to purple
The second "visible" contribution is just beginning : a web monitoring interface. For instance there is just some simple pages with simple actions and views but we planned to have a complete monitoring and administration environment. And I must admit that I'm a little proud to have done all this from graphical interface to technical code behind and to see it working

Indeed, there is still some progress to be made on both graphical and technical aspects, but I think it's a good start, don't you? any suggestions are welcome!
